i can see pipes in my residence hall. PIPES hanging from the ceiling and in my bathroom. $168,000 and four years of GODDAMN PIPES! fuck the old dorms and those who live in them, lets decide to build a state of the art dorm, that looks at students and mocks them as they watch it being erected. i loathe those high powered, low energy consumption fourescent lights. i loathe just seeing the beams of iron, of the fence that surrounds it. i will loathe every single person that is living in them next year. i loate it mostly in the morning when i am woken up by the “absolutely necessary” noises of construction at 6 OCLOCK IN THE MORNING after having gone to bed a 3 becuase i had been up all night studying. its now about 2 in the afternoon… silence outside. nothing but the trees creaking and the leaves rustling. why… please tell me, of why! in gods name, would the majority of construction take place between the hours of 6 am and 10 am…. clanking, hammereing, explosions, detonations, dumping, beeping, more explosions, youd think theyre testing goddamn nuclear bombs down there or something.

i sent a complaint into the jackass who sends out those emails about “construction updates”. well ill be dipped in shit and rolled in breadcrumbs, YOU JUST MADE MY DAY! thanks for another worthless peice of junk email. deleted.

i asked him “why would babson schedule the majority of construction work to be done in the early morning, when its students are getting their much needed sleep? We’re all constantly exhausted from being up until wee hours of the morn from either studying, or worrying if we havent done that paper / group project / presentation / (insert thing that takes alot of time here). why cant babson be a little more curteous of its students?”

in the reply, he baisically blew me off and told me to eat my first born son and that theres no way that any changes could ever be made, because babson isnt paying millions of dollars for the construction, and babson doesnt have any say in what happens down there, theyre just doing theyre own thing with complete disregard. they could be building a nuclear arms silo for all we know? why oh why should we at babson have any say whatsoever with what goes on in our construction?!?!?!?

so lets make things a little more shitty around here babson, and not renovate our already existing dorms. instead lets spend the money on getting more miserable students, and killing our old ones in the process. someone please kill something, anything to relieve the overwhelming since of anger and monotony that this place instills in me.
