one of the few things that babson has done right is to enforce and reduce grade inflation. ironically, this the one thing that has ended up hurting students the most. many find themselves working feverishly hard for grades, only to be given a gpa that has been reduced substantially in proportion to their peers at other schools. we cannot fault babson for doing the right thing (reducing grade inflation so that grades actually matter) - but … what college kid gives a shit about doing the right thing? it is something that people applying to babson should know about so they can adequately prepare to be disappointed by their own performance.
