Ok people, this time I’m really gonna have to do my best to restrain myself. This is a public service announcement particularly for the betterment of the senior class, but should be heard by all students. The following is a short list of some basic facts and tips for all those who participate in S.O.D.A.
The original definition of SODA party is a party held in the last 6-7 weeks of school held by seniors, for seniors.
The acronym stands for Seniors Out Drinking Again.
Now with that said let me get to my point.
If you are a senior, and you are hosting a S.O.D.A. please honor a babson tradition and keep out the youngsters. We all have friends who are juniors and sophmores but after 4 years of partying here, you have to know that these suites fill up quick so keep the place open and refreshments reserved for those who which it is intended for, legally aged hard working and well deserving seniors.
If you’re not a senior just remember, when your time comes to host your own S.O.D.A. you’ll want just your senior friends around you, not a bunch of randomn ass underclassmen whom you’ve never seen.
Underclassmen should only be allowed if they are accompanied guests of at least 1 senior for maybe 2 underclassmen (be your own judge).
If you know whose soda it is, ask before bringing over twenty randomn sophmores and juniors
If you’re gonna invite the whole sports team that you’re affiliated with, then don’t host a S.O.D.A., tell someone else to do it so seniors have their own haven for celebration through libation.
The single most important thing about this post and these tips, is that someone out there in the senior class thinks more about what I’ve written and when they hold their own SODA, they come up with their own set of rules and ways of doing things. I’m not saying we should harass and shun all underclassmen, but so far, there have been wayyyyyy toooo fuckin many little shits getting stupid fucked up at those parties and getting some busted up early or just running out of drinks 10 minutes after pub gets out. I know a lot of people are mad disappointed with the way that events have been handled thus far. I know from what I’ve seen so far, that I wouldn’t even bother going any more.
So seniors, the ball is in your court. Is it Seniors Out Drinking Again or SOphmores Drinking All?
Its 4:20 pm, I’m in class, it’s almost time for wednesday night South Park…

chris milligan sucks?
In Chris’ defense, not only was he totally overwhelmed with the entire Thursday night/after pub crowd at his soda, but Chris has not spent the past three years actively participating in the Babson social life. Essentially, he has no clue who is in or who is not in the senior class.
307 got fucked with the Thursday night crowd and fucked by the rest of the senior class, no question. Five underclassmen were actually invited to their soda, five girls. I sincerely doubt they were the problem.
Basically, the rest of the class needs to pull in the reigns on this shit. I’m sure Chris appreciates the fact that you dragged the entire school over from pub and then had your head far enough up your ass to blame him for not controlling it. Where does the rest of the school hear about soda? Keep your goddamn mouths shut.
the end of the comment above mine is really what this posting is all about. Seniors need to not leak the location of the soda. Please note that I didn’t name a single one and Chris Milligan was not the only victim of the underclassmen. Leave the name calling out guys, seriously grow the fuck up and make soda a little more exclusive (to seniors) and more enjoyable.
