Remember there were four or five significant periods of time that the elevator was out of order due to broken parts/manufacturing defects/other maintenance/bullshit. Had there been any disabled students requiring use of the elevator in the building, given the amount of time the thing was fucking broken and how the handicap access buttons on the outside doors are always broken I'm fairly sure right now they would be rolling down Abbot St to Bank of America in the fucking Cadillac of wheelchairs to cash their settlement checks from Babo and KONE since the administration was too stupid to accomodate them and besides, how can you move a student to another building on campus when they can't even get out of the one they're in? The elevator fiasco turns into the shit on Doug show on pretty much a weekly basis now, and while this is all fairly entertaining since I enjoy comedic mass emails.. some good points are raised. I want to know why the bill rose so much and why its such an arm twisting policy bending hassle to just put a goddamn camera in there. Fuck it, I want my $95 worth out of that elevator, I'm going to ride that bitch all day. In fact I want Babson to pay me to be the official Map Hill Elevator Attendent, it's just as marginal and functionally the same as Doug's job at this point, "which floor, bitch?" I want to know why I pay extra to live in a dorm where everything breaks.
