He in good faith agreed to pay for a single room. They renegged on the agreement. I bet HIS dad is not a lawyer, or a wealthy prince of a foreign land. But you know- it is a cardinal rule of customer service that you NEVER EVER drop a person like that. Someone calls you asking for "something you are not sure who to send them to" you don;t just say sorry and ignore them. You hold their hand until you find the right person. You call and ask if you've got the place for the issue THEN transfer the call. You tell the caller "look, I'm not sure, but if the person I am sending you to cannot help you, call me back. My name is X and my number is 1234. You OWN that problem until you hand it off to someone that can be of help, and they take over. I should teach a seminar in this stuff for the Babson staff.
